제 1 부 예언, 탄생 [1] No.1 Symphony 서곡 [2] Nos.2/3 Recitative & Air tenor: Comfort ye my people ... Every valley shall be exalted 내 백성을 위로하라.. 모든 골짜기 높아지리라 RECITATIVE. (Accompanied - Tenor) Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God; speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem; and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness: -Prepare ye the way of the Lord: make straight in the desert a highway for our God. 40:1 너희 하나님이 가라사대 너희는 위로하라 내 백성을 위로하라 40:2 너희는 정다이 예루살렘에 말하며 그것에게 외쳐 고하라 그 복역의 때가 끝났고 그 죄악의 사함을 입었느니라 그 모든 죄를 인하여 여호와의 손에서 배나 받았느니라 할지니라 40:3 외치는 자의 소리여 가로되 너희는 광야에서 여호와의 길을 예비하라 사막에서 우리 하나님의 대로를 평탄케 하라 AIR (Tenor) Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill made low, the crooked straight and the rough places plain. 40:4 골짜기마다 돋우어지며 산마다, 작은 산마다 낮아지며 고르지 않은 곳이 평탄케 되며 험한 곳이 평지가 될 것이요 [3] No.4 Chorus: And the glory of the Lord 주의 영광 CHORUS And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. 40:5 여호와의 영광이 나타나고 모든 육체가 그것을 함께 보리라 대저 여호와의 입이 말씀하셨느니라 [4] Nos.5/6 Recitative & Air bass: Thus saith the Lord ... But who may abide 만군의 주가 말씀하신다. 주 오시는 날 누가 능히 당하리 RECITATIVE. (Accompanied - Bass) Thus saith the Lord of Hosts: -Yet once a little while and I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land; and I will shake all nations; and the desire of all nations shall come. The Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, He shall come, saith the Lord of Hosts. 2:6 나 만군의 여호와가 말하노라 조금 있으면 내가 하늘과 땅과 바다와 육지를 진동시킬 것이요 2:7 또한 만국을 진동시킬 것이며 만국의 보배가 이르리니 내가 영광으로 이 전에 충만케 하리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라 3:1 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 보라 내가 내 사자를 보내리니 그가 내 앞에서 길을 예비할 것이요 또 너희의 구하는 바 주가 홀연히 그 전에 임하리니 곧 너희의 사모하는 바 언약의 사자가 임할 것이라 AIR (Alt) But who may abide the day of His coming? and who shall stand when He appeareth? For He is like a refiner's fire. 3:2 그의 임하는 날을 누가 능히 당하며 그의 나타나는 때에 누가 능히 서리요 그는 금을 연단하는 자의 불과 표백하는 자의 잿물과 같을 것이라 [5] No.7 Chorus: And he shall purify 깨끗케 하시리 CHORUS And He shall purify the sons of Levi, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. 3:3 그가 은을 연단하여 깨끗케 하는 자같이 앉아서 레위 자손을 깨끗케 하되 금은같이 그들을 연단하리니 그들이 의로운 제물을 나 여호와께 드릴 것이라 [6] Nos.8/9 Recitative & Air alto & Chorus: Behold, a virgin shall conceive .. O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion 보라 동정녀가 잉태하여.. 오, 기쁜 소식을 전하는 자여 RECITATIVE. (Alto) Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call his name Emmanuel, God with us. 7:14 그러므로 주께서 친히 징조로 너희에게 주실 것이라 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라 1:23 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름은 임마누엘이라 하리라 하셨으니 이를 번역한즉 하나님이 우리와 함께 계시다 함이라 [7] Nos.10/11 Recitative & Air bass: For behold, darkness shall cover the earth ... The people that walked in darkness RECITATIVE. (Accompanied - Bass) For Behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall rise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee, and the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. 60:2 보라 어두움이 땅을 덮을 것이며 캄캄함이 만민을 가리우려니와 오직 여호와께서 네 위에 임하실 것이며 그 영광이 네 위에 나타나리니 60:3 열방은 네 빛으로, 열왕은 비취는 네 광명으로 나아오리라 40:9 아름다운 소식을 시온에 전하는 자여 너는 높은 산에 오르라 아름다운 소식을 예루살렘에 전하는 자여 너는 힘써 소리를 높이라 두려워 말고 소리를 높여 유다의 성읍들에 이르기를 너희 하나님을 보라 하라 60:1 일어나라 빛을 발하라 이는 네 빛이 이르렀고 여호와의 영광이 네 위에 임하였음이니라 AIR (Bass) The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; and they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. 9:2 흑암에 행하던 백성이 큰 빛을 보고 사망의 그늘진 땅에 거하던 자에게 빛이 비취도다 [8] No.12 Chorus: For unto us a child is born 우리를 위해 나셨다 CHORUS For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 9:6 이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데 그 어깨에는 정사를 메었고 그 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라 [9] No.13 Pifa(PASTORAL SYMPHONY) 전원 교황곡 [10] Nos.14-16 Recitative soprano: There were shepherds, abiding in the field ... And lo! the angel of the Lord came upon them ... And the angel said unto them ... And suddenly there was with the angel 어느날 밤 양치는 목자들이.. 저 천사가 말하기를.. 갑자기 많은 천사들이 나타나서 RECITATIVE. (Soprano) There were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. RECITATIVE. (Accompanied - Soprano) And lo! the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. RECITATIVE. (Soprano) And the angel said unto thee, Fear not; for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people; for unto you is born this day in the City of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. RECITATIVE.
